Just what the doctor ordered, Issue #3 It’s January 2, 2008. Can you believe that? 2008 already! I know that it kind of snuck up on me – how about you?The first of the year brings hope of new starts, excitement and a time to get our life in order. Most people set resolutions regarding their health – most notably, weight loss. I’m sure you are one of them. In today’s newsletter, I’m putting myself out on a limb and giving you my New Year’s Goals – I don’t like to call them resolutions. And I’ll introduce new programs we offer at the fitness center guaranteed to help you meet your weight loss goals.

Resolutions I’m not sure if they are a to-do list or goals but when I accomplish all the list entails, I’ll be a better person – both personally and professionally. The first is personal. It’s very brief but extremely important to me.
Owning the fitness center has taken more time away from my family than I imagined. This is the year that it will pay off as I make more time for my wonderful family. Second and onto the professional goals… Throughout most of my life, I’ve been a big reader – mostly non-fiction. I try to read books that will better me as a person (self-improvement) or better in my field (technical). Over the last year, since opening the fitness center, I haven’t been able to read as much. This year, however, I’m getting back on the reading bandwagon. Here is my reading list for this year.
The three that are underlined are those that I have already read. They are so good I will read them again. In fact, I’ll probably read The Doctor’s Heart Cure at least three times this year. And I intend to read E-myth revisited at least every year that I am in business. My promise to you with this newsletter is to not miss one single issue this entire year. In fact, with some of the new programs we have coming out, it may feel like this is a weekly newsletter. Oh…and you can help me with the second part of this. I want to have over 1,000 people subscribed to this list. I’ve got to get busy but if you like the content you find here, forward this on to a friend, family member or colleague. That will help out tremendously. Finally, I want to help you! I want to help your family members and colleagues too.
