3 things all golfers WANT. It's also three things junior golfers NEED.
As the brochure also says, it's the sole focus of our Jr. Golf Fitness
Camp.
This
camp will make you a better player through our approach to fitness that
is specific to golf. Attending this camp will benefit you in the following
ways:
- Flexibility:
You need ample flexibility to perform your swing. And you
need flexibility in more areas of the body than just your shoulders;
like your ankles, hips, torso and more. This camp focuses on key aspects
of flexibility as they relate to golf through dynamic and static flexibility
training.
- Strength:
Getting stronger is only part of the equation to getting better. Our
approach to getting you stronger is right on target. We make you stronger
without compromising your flexibility - in any joint of your body. The
result: Strong muscles still flexible for golf - a double BONUS!
- Cardio:
It's important for those back-to-back tournaments or when the weather
is too hot - like that ever happens down here! Cardio is incoporated
into the workouts. By the end, you will be tired and won't have to head
to the track or treadmill for "cardio."
- Core
Training: It's the buzz word in golf conditioning. Problem
is most people think of core training as doing a few situps. Wrong!
To properly train your core for golf, you need to get DEEP into the
abdominal and lower back muscles. You need to work them from the top,
bottom and sides. You also need to work them rotationally to develop
swing speed. In this camp, we got your core covered.
- Power:
The ever elusive ability to hit the ball farther. The problem is you
can't pinpoint one exercise and develop more power. You need a well-balanced
fitness program that incoporates all of the above with some specific
exercises. It's what you get in this camp!
Junior
Golf Fitness Camp features:
- 6 week
camp that meets Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
- Each session
is 1 hour and 15 minutes long.
- Pre- and
post-measurement analysis.
- Work with
experienced and professional staff.
