Eating
healthy just got easier.
I
have a never-ending commitment to make getting healthier as
easy as it can be and not a bit harder. In keeping with that
commitment, I've teamed with Frederic Perrier, owner and head
chef at Aura.
Recently, Chef Perrier opened Meat
& Greet Boutique, a European style Butcher Shop and
Gourmet Deli. In addition to the great meats, products and other
services, he wanted to offer healthy meals. Since this was something
I've always wanted to do, but never found a good fit, we met
and created these meals.
Healthy
AND Tasty!
The
menu contains 8 meals, detailed below. Each is made with the
following qualities:
Becoming
Indestructible Approved: All meals meet the
requirements of the Becoming Indestructible program. No need
to write anything on your food log other than the meal, I'll
know all the details.
Healthy
Protein: All protein is free-range, never subjected
to hormones, pesticides or antibiotics. Never fed grains either.
This leaves a high-quality protein with a near-perfect fatty
acid profile.
Organic
vegetables:
All vegetables are organic, never exposed to synthetic fertlizers
or pesticides. Each meal contains about 1 cup of vegetables,
which means a whole lot of good stuff.
Gluten
FREE!
Not a single meal contains that nasty little wheat protein gluten.
We do have a meal with organic quinoa, but that's as close as
we get. This meal comes with a qualifier for those in the Becoming
Indestructible program. See below.
Fresh:
All food is fresh, NEVER frozen. Something most meal offerings
can't claim.
Petite
or Regular Options:
Your choice on protein size: Petite is 4oz while Regular is
8oz. Vegetable serving size is still approximately 1 cup.
As for taste,
let me just say it's amazing. Unless stated otherwise, meats
are seasoned with pepper, lemon zest and smoked paprika. Vegetables
are cooked with fresh ginger and garlic in a Thai basil sauce.
With that description,
you can just imagine how good they taste. Here are the meals.
